A storyboard serves as a planning tool. It is made before the finished product is generated and is intended to illustrate a narrative or demonstrate scene changes. This will frequently be determined by a timeline, but it may also be determined by the director's selections or navigational decisions.

Storyboards help the director carry out his or her vision. Depending on the standard of the storyboard development, they help with not only the artistic level of the upcoming film but also the budget, duration, and a lot more.
